Do I need to register with Anemara as my regular GP?

No. You can book a private consultation without registering with us as your regular GP or transferring your medical records.

Can I continue attending my own GP?

Yes. Many patients use Anemara alongside their usual GP practice.

Are online consultations suitable for all conditions?

No. Some conditions require physical examination, investigations or urgent assessment. If an online consultation is not appropriate, the doctor will advise you accordingly.

Can I get a prescription after an online consultation?

If clinically appropriate, prescriptions may be issued following a consultation. Prescriptions cannot be guaranteed and may require further assessment.

Are blood tests, ECGs and certificates included in the consultation fee?

No. Additional fees may apply for investigations, laboratory charges, ECGs, medical certificates, procedures, consumables and third-party services. Any additional cost will be explained beforehand whenever possible.

Do you offer home visits?

Yes. Home visits are available in selected areas subject to availability. Fees are confirmed before booking.

Do you see children?

Yes. We provide consultations for both adults and children.

Can I claim the consultation fee through my health insurer?

Many insurers reimburse private GP consultations depending on the policy. Please contact your insurer directly to confirm your cover.

Is Anemara an emergency service?

No. For chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, symptoms of stroke, severe bleeding, suicidal thoughts or any other medical emergency, call 112 or 999 or attend the nearest Emergency Department.
